CHALLENGE #1 is from Saundra, one of the design team members. She would like us to create a "special fold" card and we must use at least 3 pattern papers on it! Well I have to admit ~ I admired so many of you out there who can do this! I seem to struggle with using pattern paper. let alone 3! But I really want to Thank her for challenging me to give this a try! I actually really enjoyed doing this challenge! Thank You Saundra! I actually like how my card turned out! I need to do this more often!
So for my first card I thought I would get a jump on my Christmas cards. I do admit most of the time we send out photo cards of our son but there are a few I like to send something extra too! I decided to leave my sentiment on the inside! Unfortunately I can't show this because it something new from My Creative Time that will be happening next week! Come back to see!

CHALLENGE #2 is coming from no other that the Peachy Queen herself ~ Miss Kathy! Her card had this ADORABLE little girl jumping rope ~ oh that image is just darling!!! So for this challenge Kathy has provided a sketch to follow! Easy right! I wanted to keep this card simple and a little bright! So I decided to use some colors and patterns I normally would not use together! Trying to step out of my comfort zone ~ again still thinking of Saundra's challenge!

Great use of the patterned papers, Kim! I really, really love that frog! I think I may have to place a little PK order...totally against my spending ban, but I've been too good for too long! LOL!
They are both Oh, so cute!!!! That snowman on the first card is just plain sweet!!! And.... you did a fantastic job going out of your comfort zone!!! The papers look great together and REALLY show off that darling little frog!!!!
Both of these cards are Gorgeous. The first one is so cute you did an awesome job coloring that snowman up and shadowing the background. The 2nd one I mean how cute is that frog again awesome job with the coloring the background paper is perfect to. Thanks for inspiring can't wait to see next weeks release.

Wow, Kim! You have been busy creating some AWESOME cards!!! I love how you used the patterns on your snowman card, and the hemp and jute tie it together beautifully! And that little frog is so adorable! He looks so cute in front of the little cloud background!
